The ESPN 30 for 30 series has been consistently excellent in the way that’s it’s told “the story behind the story” of some of the biggest events in sports over the past 30 years . So far, my favorite episodes include:
- Small Potatoes: Who Killed the USFL? Rise and fall of the United States Football League
- Muhammad and Larry – The October 1980 fight between Muhammad Ali and Larry Holmes
- Without Bias – The life of Len Bias
- The U – University of Miami football team in the 1980s
- Winning Time: Reggie Miller vs. The New York Knicks
- Guru of Go – Paul Westhead and Loyola Marymount
- No Crossover: The Trial of Allen Iverson
Even though fantasy sports got it’s start with baseball, I’m still interested to see how things started now that it’s grown into a multi-billion dollar industry.
